DrawMyPhoto

Privacy Policy

Effective 1 October 2026 (event list updated the same day)

The short version. Your photos are opened and drawn by your own browser, on your own device. They are never uploaded to DrawMyPhoto or anyone else. There are no accounts, no cookies, no advertising and no third-party tracking scripts. We count a few anonymous events, such as “a coloring page was downloaded”, to learn what people use.

1. What stays on your device

When you use the picture to drawing tool or any of our other tools, the photo you choose is read by your browser and turned into a drawing on your computer or phone. The sketch filter is ordinary code that runs in the page; line art and coloring pages use an AI model that your browser downloads from drawmyphoto.com and runs locally. The photo, the drawing and the files you download are never sent to our servers. When you close the tab, they are gone from the page.

Your browser keeps a copy of the model file in its normal cache so that it does not have to download it again. It contains no information about you.

2. What we receive

Anonymous usage events

The tools send a handful of events to our own endpoint on drawmyphoto.com, and nowhere else:

Each event carries the page it happened on, the country Cloudflare derives from the request, and one word for the kind of place the visit came from: for example “chatgpt”, “google”, “another website” or “direct”. That word is worked out in your browser; the address of the page you came from is never sent. We do not store IP addresses with events, set no cookie and attach no identifier, so events cannot be linked to each other or to you. They are stored in Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine, which keeps them for about three months. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the site sends no events at all.

Server logs

DrawMyPhoto is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and we can see short-lived request logs for debugging. We do not use them to identify visitors.

Email

If you write to contact@drawmyphoto.com, we receive your message and address, and use them only to reply. Ask us and we will delete the conversation. Please do not email us photos of children.

3. Cookies

DrawMyPhoto sets no cookies and uses no local storage for tracking.

4. Third parties

Cloudflare hosts the site and runs our event endpoint. There are no advertising networks, social media widgets, external analytics or font services: fonts, scripts, the model and the example images are all served from drawmyphoto.com itself. Links to other sites, such as Wikimedia Commons for our sample photos, are subject to those sites’ own policies.

5. Children

DrawMyPhoto is meant for parents, teachers and other adults, including adults making coloring pages for children. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because photos never leave the device, a photo of a child that you turn into a coloring page is never received by us.

6. Your rights

Because your photos never reach us and events are anonymous, the only personal information we may hold is correspondence you send us by email. You can ask to see it, correct it or delete it at any time. If you are in the EU, UK or California, these requests are your rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA respectively; we will answer within the time those laws require.

7. Changes

If we change how data is handled, for example if we add accounts, paid features or advertising, we will update this page and its effective date before the change applies.
