Terms of Use
Effective 1 October 2026
These terms apply to drawmyphoto.com and its tools: picture to drawing, image to sketch, photo to line art and the coloring page makers (together, “DrawMyPhoto”). By using DrawMyPhoto you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. The service
DrawMyPhoto is free to use. Features, styles and limits may change, and we may add paid options later; anything that is free today will be described clearly if that ever changes. Because the tools run in your browser, what works depends on your browser and device. On some older devices the AI line-art model cannot run and a simpler filter is used instead.
2. Your photos
Only use photos you took yourself or have permission to use. Photos of other people should be used with their consent, and photos of children with a parent’s or guardian’s consent.
Your photos are processed on your own device and are never sent to DrawMyPhoto. You keep every right you have in them. You are responsible for the photos you choose and for what you do with the drawings.
3. Drawings you make
The drawings you make are yours to use for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, subject to the rights in the photo they came from. We claim no ownership of them. Printable PDFs include one small line in the bottom margin naming drawmyphoto.com; you may crop or remove it.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use DrawMyPhoto to create or distribute material that is unlawful, that sexualises minors, that infringes someone else’s rights, or that harasses or deceives people. Do not try to disrupt the site, overload it, or copy it in bulk with automated tools.
5. Our content and open-source parts
The site, its text and design belong to DrawMyPhoto. The line-art model (Informative Drawings by Caroline Chan, Frédo Durand and Phillip Isola) and ONNX Runtime Web are open-source software under the MIT licence, and the display typeface Bricolage Grotesque is under the SIL Open Font License; see the about page for credits. The sample photos are public domain (CC0) from Wikimedia Commons.
6. Copyright complaints
If you believe something on drawmyphoto.com infringes your copyright, email contact@drawmyphoto.com with the work you own, where it appears on our site, your contact details and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised. We will respond promptly. Note that we never receive or host the photos visitors draw from.
7. No warranty
DrawMyPhoto is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Drawings are generated automatically and may not look the way you expect; preview them before printing.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, DrawMyPhoto is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it, which for the free service is zero.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the current version; changes apply from that date. If a change matters for how you use DrawMyPhoto, we will say so on the site.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the courts that can hear appeals from them.
